

As Wollongong’s accredited trainers, All Onsite Training & Assessment ensures that you’re been fully trained to undertake Heavy Vehicle work, in order for you to obtain Heavy Vehicle licences. Over many years, we have trained local and nationwide students who now have Heavy Vehicle Licences.
All training from All Onsite Training & Assessment for Heavy Vehicle Licences is carried out onsite to meet your exact licencing requirements.
We do licences from Light Ridgid (LR) all the way up to Multi Combination (MC).
A light rigid, or class LR licence covers a rigid vehicle with a GVM of more than 4.5 tonnes, but not more than 8 tonnes. Any towed trailer must not weigh more than 9 tonnes GVM. Also includes vehicles with a GVM up to 8 tonnes, which carry more than 12 adults including the driver and vehicles in Class C.
Minimum requirements:
A medium rigid, or class MR Licence covers a rigid vehicle with 2 axles and a GVM of more than 8 tonnes. Any towed trailer must not weigh more than 9 tonnes GVM. Also includes vehicles in class LR.
Minimum requirements:
A heavy combination, or class HC licence covers heavy combination vehicles like a prime mover towing a semi-trailer, or rigid vehicles towing a trailer with a GVM of more than 9 tonnes. Also includes vehicles in class HR.

For all classes of licence training undertaken with All Onsite Training & Assessment, you will be required to follow the following steps to obtain your heavy vehicle licences:
A heavy rigid, or class HR licence covers a rigid vehicle with 3 or more axles and a GVM of more than 8 tonnes. Any towed trailer must not weigh more than 9 tonnes GVM. Also includes articulated buses and vehicles in class MR.
Minimum requirements:

A multiple combination, or class MC (B- Double or Road Train) licence covers multiple combination vehicles like a prime mover towing an A and B semi-trailer, or rigid vehicles towing multiple trailers.
